Airport West - EV Charging

Australia's only public ultra-rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging network has been further expanded with the opening of the most powerful EV charging station in the Southern Hemisphere at Westfield's Airport West in Melbourne.

Working in partnership with Chargefox, EnergySpec Electrical was selected to install and commission the four x 350kW ultra-rapid and two x 50kW fast chargers. Each 350kW ultra-rapid charger is capable of delivering up to 400km of charge in 15 minutes whereas the 50kW fast chargers can deliver 60km per 15 minutes.
