Horsham - EV Charging

Horsham is now one of seven locations in Victoria with a new charging station for electric cars.

Located in central Horsham on Baillie Street, the station was the result of funding with $3 million by the Victorian Government and matched by Chargefox, the operator of the stations.

The stations have been fitted out by EnergySpec Electrical and provide ultra-rapid charging, with a typical 15-minute charge giving a 400km driving range.

The investment is providing support in the uptake of electric vehicles, improving air quality and placing the nation in a greater position to achieve a net-zero carbon emission by 2050.
