Harbour One - Docklands
Harbour One in Docklands has added an 87-panel vertical solar array, to get around the dual problems of unsuitable roof space and power bills that are ever climbing.
Winconnect, in partnership with EnergySpec Electrical, undertook the project that has a total capacity of generating 32,000kWh annually, the equivalent of powering 11 apartments off-the-grid over the same period.
The utilisation of eArche solar modules provide modules that are 70% lighter and 80% thinner than conventional modules, thus allowing for more flexible panels and reducing weight limitation issues on the project.
